Coronation Street fans were left rather flustered when Dev Alahan was greeted by a police visit – just moments after his morning romp with Bernie Winter.
The hit ITV soap was back on TV screens on Monday night (September 18).
But things took a rather cheeky turn when fan-favourite couple Dev and Bernie decided to have a “quickie” – only to get interrupted by the police.

After their romp, police officers knocked on Dev’s door to find Bernie in her dressing gown chomping on toast.
Bernie welcomed the police in, but Dev was looking rather happy, albeit a little worn out, as he sprawled across the sofa.
But seeing the two officers in his room soon brought Dev back to reality and he quickly fastened up his robe.
Viewers watching the soap at home were left in tears of laughter at Dev and Bernie’s naughty scene, and rushed over to X, formerly known as Twitter.
One said: “A post coital Dev is something no one should see.”
Someone else penned: “Dev getting in a flap because the police turned up…”
A third quipped: “COVER YOURSELF UP DEV.”
Another added: “I think Dev and Bernie are my favourite characters right now so funny!”
The police were at Dev's as they wanted to quiz Bernie about a potential fraud investigation involving Shelly Rothington.

Bernie heads to the station where she lies and makes out she's merely helping a woman with MD by collecting a few parcels.
However, the police inform her of Shelly's passing and the news leaves son Paul Foreman reeling.
Shelly was a friend of Paul's who he met at a support group after he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
After the news of Shelly's death sunk in, Paul started putting plans into place for his pal's funeral.
