Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) is being supported by her family in Coronation Street, after being diagnosed with early menopause.

However, when it comes to Craig (Colson Smith) and his attempt at helping his girlfriend, well, he’s going a bit over the top.

This week, Faye informs Beth (Lisa George) and Sally (Sally Dynevor) that Craig’s researching the menopause obsessively and is now monitoring her nutrition.

At Speed Daal, Craig produces a chart, listing beneficial foods so they can check the menu.

Understandably, Faye is pretty mortified – but Craig’s help doesn’t stop there.

Next week, Craig finds Carla (Alison King) and asks her not to put Faye under any pressure at work.

When Faye finds out, she tears a strip off Craig for humiliating her in front of her boss.

After presenting Faye with a nightie designed to keep her cool and improve her sleep, Craig finally realises his mistakes and wonders if he should move back to his mum’s.

When Faye tells him to do as he pleases, Craig starts to pack.

Is it all over for this couple?
