BBC Breakfast saw Dan Walker presenting alongside Louise Minchin on Monday morning. And during one point in the show, Dan teased Carol Kirkwood when she finished her weather report with an old fashioned saying.
The meteorologist said: “You know the old saying ‘Never cast a clout till may is out’ some people think it’s the May blossom other people think it’s your clothing, so take your pick Dan and Lou.”
Louise replied: “Well no I don’t know that old saying but I do now – thank you very much.”
“Requires a Scottish accent I think,” Dan remarked, laughing at Carol’s choice of words.
