DANCING On Ice's Kye Whyte is'nervous' after his slip on the ice – but promises to go into 'BMX mode' to win the show.

The BMX Olympic silver medallist, 22, survived the skate-off last week after impressing judges with his moves.

Rachel Stevens was sent home last week after losing the skate-off to Kye.

Now the sports hero, dubbed the Prince of Peckham, is determined to do all he can to avoid being in the skate-off this week after he narrowly avoided a fall on last Sunday's show.

A source told The Sun: "Being in the bottom two was a wake-up call.

"Kye was nervous for the first time after he had that slip. He's now gone into full on BMX mode for this weekend, you will see more of the Olympic champ.

"He wants to win and is putting in the hard work.

"Last weekend he gave his tickets to Tippy's parents who had flown in from the States.

A source told The Sun: "Kye is back on the ice again.

"He's back on his bike again too.
