Gino D'Acampo leaves Holly flustered as he mocks Phillip Schofield
This Morning’s former presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have reportedly been questioned as part of an inquiry into the ITV scandal surrounding Phillip Schofield.
The husband and wife duo have been spoken to as part of the investigation after GB News host Eamonn made claims about ITV “covering up” Phillip’s affair, according to a source.
Jane Mulcahy KC is leading an external review after Phillip’s exit made headlines for weeks earlier this year, after he admitted to the affair following reports of a feud with This Morning co-star Holly Willoughby.
In response, Eamonn accused ITV bosses of a cover up, and it’s thought he and other stars of the magazine show have since been quizzed over the controversy.
Despite reports by The Sun that Eamonn hadn’t yet been questioned, a contradictory statement from ITV revealed he had.

The Sun previously reported: “Eamonn has extensive knowledge of the atmosphere at This Morning and has said before he thought Phil’s affair was ‘covered up.’
“The fact he’s not been approached is leading to confusion as he could be key in helping engender change at ITV.
“If he and Ruth aren’t asked about what they know, it appears the investigation into This Morning and what went on may not be as thorough as people first believed it would be.”
According to The Mirror, a source suggested this was untrue.

The publication was also told that Holly “fully complied and cooperated with everything that has been asked of her by the KC”.
They claimed: “Holly was more than happy to do what was asked of her, and explain her position, and what she knew, and what she didn’t.”
Speaking at the Edinburgh TV Festival, ITV boss Kevin Lygo stated: “She (Mulcahy) has been talking to everybody involved, they take your phone and look at every single text you’ve ever sent, email, Whatsapp.”

In May, Eamonn claimed during a GB News interview with Dan Wootton: “It’s a total cover-up.
“Those in authority had to know what was going on and they thought they would dodge a bullet with this, and they do constantly.
“With Schofield talking about ‘those who speak out against him’ namely me, Amanda Holden, [Dan Wootton], you’ll be included in the toxicity, Dr Ranj…you simply think, ‘No mate, you’ve had it all your way for far too long.'”
Express.co.uk has contacted Eamonn and Ruth’s representatives for a comment.
