Among them was Rukku Nahar, who played Iqra’s sister Habiba Ahmed.
Nahar replied: “Bye bye Iqs!!! can’t wait for the new adventures!! ALWAYS SO PROUD OF YOU.” (sic)
Gurlaine Kaur Garcha also replied, the star behind Iqra’s ex-girlfriend Ash.
“Onwards and upwards my girl,” Garcha said.
Back in March 2021, Iqra suffered heartbreak when she and Ash split up after a turbulent love affair.
Since then, Iqra has been cast adrift, making her arc one of the more emotionally powerful ones in the soap.
Davdra’s time as Iqra was the star’s first major role, with the newcomer in very few projects beforehand.
Outside of EastEnders, Davdra was best known for providing NPC (non-playable character) voicework in the games Hitman 2 and 3.
She also starred in two short films, The Colour of Milk, and The Chapati Flower.
Currently, there are no upcoming projects on her IMDb profile, with no announcements of what Davdra could be appearing in next.
Now that her exit is official, confirmation of her next project will likely follow soon.
Express.co.uk will update this story when more information emerges.
EastEnders continues tonight at 7:30pm on BBC One.
