Eastenders’ Denise Fox on affair storyline
Earlier this year, fans of the BBC soap saw Denise Fox (played by Diane Parish) get involved with Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), betraying her husband Jack Branning (Scott Maslen).
Deciding to call their brief fling off, realising that Jack was the only man for her, Ravi then set his sights on her daughter Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams) in a bid to make her jealous.
Ravi also was determined to find out what information Jack had managed to gather while investigating his criminal activity.
However, not expecting to develop genuine feelings for Chelsea, the Walford resident was left heartbroken when she found out about the affair with her mum and ended their relationship.
Although all might not be lost for Ravi as official spoilers reveal he’s got a plan to win her back.
Seeing a potential way back into Chelsea’s life, Ravi decides to approach her two best friends Finlay and Felix Baker (Ashley Byam and Matthew Morrison).
Offering some business advice to the duo, he’s hopeful the selfless gesture will make its way back to Chelsea, showing that he’s not all bad.
Later on, Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) tries to convince Chelsea to sort things out with Finlay, Felix and Zack Hudson (James Farrar) before going to the pub quiz.
While there, the team gets stuck into answering the questions, although Chelsea is distracted when she spots Ravi drinking by himself.

As there are clearly still feelings there, Whitney gives Chelsea a pep talk and there’s a glimmer of hope that their relationship could be saved.
It looks as though there’s forgiveness all around as Chelsea and her mum put on a brace face later on in the week.
Despite their huge fall-out, they put their differences on hold and come together for Lola Pearce’s (Danielle Harold) racing day celebrations.
Speaking about Ravi’s affair and blackmailing Denise, actor Aaron Thiara said although his character doesn’t regret it as it helped get information, it’s different when it comes to hurting Chelsea.
He said: “Does he regret how far it escalated and that he fell in love and does he now self-hate because he was blinded and didn’t keep his head straight throughout all of this?”
“Possibly. I think there is more self-hatred than there is regret.
“Having said that, he does have a huge regret in breaking Chelsea’s heart.”
EastEnders continues Monday to Thursday on BBC One from 7:30pm
