EastEnders spoilers see Whitney panicked as she discovers serious situation about baby

EastEnders looks set for emotional scenes next week as pregnant Whitney Dean is left panicked and dazed after discovering a serious situation about her unborn baby.

In upcoming scenes, Whitney is panicked when she experiences spotting, and Kat Slater offers to go with her to the hospital to get checked out.

At the hospital, Dr Lane tells Whitney that her ultrasound has flagged up a situation with the baby.

Meanwhile, Zack Hudson confesses to Sam Mitchell about his HIV diagnosis and promises he will tell Whitney.

The next day, Whitney is dazed after yesterday’s news, but Zack hasn’t returned her calls.

And Whitney is left surprised when Kat suggests that she shouldn’t write him off and later Kat confronts Zack, telling him he's going to Whitney’s straight away.

After he profusely apologises, Whitney reveals the news about the baby. Will the baby be okay and will he support Whitney going forward?

Elsewhere, things blow up again between the Slaters and the Brannings over 12-year-old Lily Slater's pregnancy.

Jack Branning corners Lily and warns her off life as a teen mum, and soon Ricky Jr, 12, who is the baby's father, has had enough of his dad and moves in with Sam.

Stressed Denise Fox is given a shoulder to cry on by Ravi. Later, she decides to cheer herself up by heading out on a night out with Kim and Ravi is delighted to see them arrive at Walford East.

Also, Lola Pearce decides the time has come to tell Lexi that she’s dying. Later, Lola’s mum Emma talks to Lexi at the school playground and then books an appointment with Lola at the salon, but neither realise who she is.

Lola tells Emma that Lexi is being bullied at school after Lola posted a vlog about her condition.

Elsewhere in Albert Square, Sonia Fowler decides to get a lodger, but while Reiss hints that it could be him, she decides on a guy called Jed, who soon creates a big impression, leaving Reiss crestfallen.

While Martin Fowler is offered some lucrative work abroad, but can he head off while the family are still dealing with Lily’s problems?

EastEnders continues on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7:30pm on BBC One.
