DAYS after claiming she worked “in the most abusive department” of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, an ex-staffer has now hinted the host needs a “psychological evaluation.”
In a new TikTok video, former employee Rachel has opened up for a second time about her experience working with the comedian, who has come under fire recently for allegedly leading a “toxic” work environment.
After watching Rachel’s first video about working on The Ellen DeGeneres Show over the weekend, one follower asked in the comments: “Is it true she hates eye contact?”
This inquiry likely comes after some staffers alleged in the bombshell accusations made in early July that they were told not to look or speak directly to the 62-year-old star.
Upon seeing the question, Rachel decided to respond with a whole new video dedicated to answering it.
She captioned the video to say “for legal reasons idk who ur talking about,” but then proceeded to sip from an Ellen water bottle in the clip.
Instead of using her own words to answer the question, the ex staffer lip-synced a quote she felt captured what she wanted to say.
She mouthed: “Um, I’m not gonna get up here and bash her like everybody else but she needs a lot of psychological evaluations."
When someone commented on the new TikTok to note that the user still has all of the Ellen Show swag, though, Rachel clapped back: “omg cuz we had to pay for all of it!”
All of this comes just days after Rachel’s first video where she claimed she worked in the talk show’s “most abusive department.”
She also told viewers: “You think YOU CAN hurt my feelings??? LOL I worked at Ellen," before throwing up her middle finger.
An internal investigation was launched last month by the show's parent company WarnerMedia after employees came forward about experiencing a “toxic” work environment while on the talk show.
Aside from employees, others have also come forward with allegations against Ellen.
One waitress said the host tried to get her fired for having chipped nails, now-grown Ben Gravolet said she used to call him "fat" when he was 11, and Big Brother host Julie Chen appeared to throw “shade” at Ellen by using the host’s line, “Be kind to one another.”
Ellen eventually sent out an apology letter to her staff, but a few spoke out about not accepting the note and not believing she’s truly sorry or that she didn’t know what was going on on her own show.
What did Ellen say in her apology letter and what are the allegations about her show being a ’toxic work place’?
ELLEN DeGeneres has faced backlash after reports emerged that the host is “mean
Several people that have either worked with or visited Ellen's show are coming forward to denounce her sunny image, claiming that behind the scenes, the comedian is a different person.
Ellen's staff reportedly once told a TV executive not to "look at her or speak to her."
Neil Breen claimed the chat show host had a series of "bizarre" demands when she appeared on his Australian program, the Today show, in 2013.
Current staff echo those sentiments and are reportedly “distressed and outraged over their treatment."
Despite Ellen's reputation as a friend to the stars, many of her A-list pals haven't been quick to come to her defense.
Following staffers' allegations of a "toxic work environment", The Ellen DeGeneres show's parent company WarnerMedia has opened an investigation.
Ellen apologized in a letter, writing: “I could not have the success I’ve had without all of your contributions. My name is on the show and everything we do and I take responsibility for that.
Twitter users began trending the #ReplaceEllen hashtag with suggestions of who should take over for the actress, which included Tiffany Haddish, James Corden and Wanda Sykes.
Soon after, opposing hashtag #IStandWithEllen began trending, with Ellen's supporters including wife Portia de Rossi and friend Katy Perry speaking out.
Since the original allegations were made and the trending hashtags were created, Rachel also used Twitter to share her thoughts on the scandal.

A few days later, she claimed she used to get so stressed while working on Ellen’s talk show, she would get sick.
She wrote: “I think the stress of the news is why I’ve thrown up this week almost as much as I did when I worked at Ellen.”
