EMMERDALE fans have been left unimpressed with the show's 'nonsensical' Chloe Harris storyline.
The mum-of-one had been in a coma for over a week after her horror clifftop car crash but is now back in the comfort of her own home.
Viewers of the ITV soap opera will remember that during Super Soap Week, Chloe's car was involved in a horror smash which saw it hurtling over the edge of a cliff.
With Charity and Mack both inside the car too, amid an ill-planned cheating revenge plot, Chloe was left in the worst position as Mack chose not to save her and instead watch her plummet to the ground in the vehicle.
It saw her hospitalised with her injuries with medical staff fearing that she may have suffered serious brain injuries as well as a series of physical difficulties.
However, Chloe appeared to be doing extremely good when the doctors brought her out of her coma.

Just days later, she was discharged and sent home despite the severity of the situation.
It has led fans to blast writers of the show for not being consistent with the story as they insisted that Chloe would require round the clock care for a number of weeks.
Many felt the show was simply keen to move on and so was not exploring Chloe's accident in full details.
As she made her was home on Monday evening's episode, aside from a few cuts and scratches and the use of crutches, Chloe seemed relatively fine.

Writing about the blunder, one fan said online: "Chloe looks amazing after going off a cliff in her car makes no sense #emmerdale."
Before another added: "If I get poorly I’m going to Hotton General!!! I shall be marching out of there in a week doing my Duke of Edinburgh award no brain injury’s here! #Emmerdale."
A third said: "Hotten Lourdes has worked it’s magic, though being impaled obviously takes a couple of days longer than normal #Emmerdale."
As someone else echoed: "Considering Chloe literally rolled a car which then fell off a CLIFF, with her in it tumbling around like a rag doll, should she not have been a little bit more injured/brain damaged? #Emmerdale."
Chloe was left hiding a dark secret from Mack as she recovered from her ordeal.
She does remember the crash and knows that he did not save her but she is choosing to keep it to herself to keep her family together.
