Emmerdale fans ‘figure out’ Kim Tate fatal twist as mystery person steals gun

This week (May 9) has seen a special flash-forward week of episodes which means Emmerdale super sleuths have been able to piece together what's potentially going to happen next in the Dales.

Currently, Gabby Thomas has become paranoid that ex Jamie Tate, who is supposedly dead, is after their son Thomas after she witnessed a figure in the woods.

Knowing that baby Thomas was with her step-mum Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy), Gabby called her under the pretence of checking something trivial, while ensuring her son was safe.

However, Gabby's phone died and she then spotted a package and opened it to find a baby-grow saying 'Daddy's Little Star' on it.

With Gabby's fear at an all-time high, Monday's episode ended on a cliff-hanger as a mystery person was seen smashing a glass cabinet at Home Farm and stealing a shotgun.

At the start of that same episode, a lifeless body could be seen in the woods.

Now Emmerdale sleuths have come to the conclusion that this body could potentially be Kim Tate, with Gabby accidentally shooting her, thinking that she's Jamie.

Taking to Twitter to air out their predictions, one fan said: "Gabby is gonna end up shooting Kim!"

But another had a very different take on the situation, claiming: "it's gotta be Gabby that dies surely!"

However, plenty of fans have not forgotten Noah Dingle, seen in a muddy grave, with plenty of speculation flying around that Gabby could have potentially killed him.

Other fan theories have Gabby's stalker pegged as Joe Tate who is currently thought to be living abroad off Kim's business money.

He was last seen in the village in 2018.

Not all fans have been happy with how the portrayal of the gun being stolen has actually played out, however.

Many pointed out what they saw as a blunder.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: "Who keeps guns in a glass cupboard you normally have them in a strong cupboard with locks on it."

Another added: "Erm, just to point out that by law (Firearms Act) guns shouldn't be kept in a glass cabinet. They should be kept in a secure, solid locked cupboard."

Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7:30pm on ITV
