Emmerdale fans ‘work out’ how Caleb and Nicky’s plan ‘crumbles’

Emmerdale: Caleb agrees to allow Kim to send him money

Emmerdale fans recently discovered Nicky Milligan (played by Lewis Cope) and Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) are related on the ITV soap. The father and son duo are trying to take down Kim Tate (Claire King) and steal everything she owns. However, viewers are convinced there are signs their scheme will backfire after spotting a telling clue.

It appeared as though cracks were starting to form with Nicky and his dad’s plan on the latest instalment of the ITV drama.

During the episode, Nicky ran into Caleb in the village and fumed: “What the hell do you think you’re doing?”

Caleb replied: “Right now I am cracking this [bottle] open so whatever it is, it can wait. It’s too public here for a start.”

However, Nicky added: “Do you think I’d be doing this if it wasn’t important – we’ve got a problem.”

Caleb told Nicky to sort it out as the latter warned how Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) was telling his wife Kim about Caleb’s odd behaviour.

Nicky was worried Kim would lose Caleb’s trust and their plan would be ruined.

When Nicky told Caleb he owed Kim a lot of money, he replied: “Do you want to stop talking to me in the street like I am some idiot?”

Nicky told his dad to stop talking to him like he was a child as the duo continued to clash.

It left Emmerdale fans thinking the characters’ arguments will lead to their downfall.

Caleb wants Home Farm as he is the secret son of Kim’s ex-husband Frank Tate (Norman Bowler).

He wants Kim to be left with nothing and take everything she has ever owned to get his revenge.

Jamie penned on Twitter: “This plan from Nicky and [Caleb] is going to crumble. #Emmerdale.”

St Mick shared: “So, who’s going to cock things up? Caleb or Nicky? #Emmerdale.”

Owen replied: “Nicky. He’s around Kim and Gabby [Thomas] 24/7, he is bound to slip up eventually.”

Charlotte remarked: “Nicky is starting to let his mask slip. That outburst at Caleb up at Home Farm seemed out of character for him, and his attitude towards Billy [Fletcher] when he asked him to take the kids swimming.

“He needs to be careful or his and Caleb’s plan will fall apart #Emmerdale.”

Pam commented: “Nicky is a right little snitch #Emmerdale.”

Will Nicky and Caleb’s rows get overheard by another villager and destroy their plan?

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
