Emmerdale is set for dramatic scenes as The Woolpack's new surprise owner is unveiled after a tense auction.
Only recently, Al Chapman discovered that Gavin was pulling out of the development deal after he had a confrontation with Cain Dingle and Mackenzie Boyd.
Al then told Chas and Marlon Dingle that their contract deal was off due to Cain's involvement as he declared that the only option left with the pub was to put it up for auction.
Marlon and Chas were left devastated over the news as the latter confronted Cain for ruining things and disowned him from the family.
In upcoming scenes, Kim Tate picks up an auction catalogue and starts flicking through with Will Taylor working out that she is likely planning on putting in a bid to buy The Woolpack.
Charity Dingle overhears and has to break the devastating news to Chas, who hits the roof and admits losing the pub will break her heart.
During the day of the auction, Chas initially refuses to go as she doesn't want to see Kim steal her pub while Cain is determined to fix things.
After Charity hits a nerve, Chas decides to attend the auction where there is tension amongst the villagers as the auctioneer prepares to start.
During the pub battle, the auctioneer is ready to sell The Woolpack to the highest bid when Cain suddenly shoots his hand up and leaves wife Moira Dingle stunned.
However, Moira is soon left relieved when Cain is outbid by a mystery online bidder as the auction comes to an end.
And after Faith Dingle fails to get the name of the mystery buyer from the auctioneer, the family are soon left stunned as the bidder wants to meet Chas and Marlon in person.
Chas is fearful who the mystery buyer is… could it be someone already in the village or a newcomer?
It comes after Executive Producer Laura Shaw teased: "I think we’re going to see a lot more pushing and things might get a little bit worse for Chas and Paddy before they get better.
"From the ashes of Christmas Day, we’re going to see a shiny new Woolpack emerge this year and the fight for who’s going to control it will definitely be on.
"Who’s going to be victoriously holding their keys at the end of it though? Who’s going to have their name over the door? You’re going to have to watch to find out."
