Next week in Emmerdale, Chas Dingle is convinced Moira has rekindled her affair with Nate Robinson. But could she be mistaken?

Played by soap legend Lucy Pargeter, Chas Dingle is convinced her sister-in-law Moira Dingle (portrayed by Natalie J. Robb) is cheating on her brother Cain (Jeff Hordley).

To add more drama into the mix, the Woolpack bar manager believes Moira is cavorting with her former flame Nate (Jurell Carter), Cain's son.

Coming up, Chas is suspicious when she finds a half-naked Nate chatting to Moira.

While the farmer tries to explain everything, Chas doesn't buy it.

She later overhears her speaking with somebody on the phone, arranging to meet them in her empty house and her suspicions increase.

Chas also believes her mother Faith – played by Sally Dexter – is helping Moira rekindle her relationship with Nate and is determined to catch the pair in the act.

The following day, Chas discovers Moira dressed in her robe and knows somebody could be hiding somewhere in the house.

She bursts into the bedroom… but is stunned when she finds Faith inside as opposed to Nate.

Little does she know Faith is hiding a secret of her own.

In recent episodes, it was revealed that her breast cancer had returned and that she only had a small amount of time left to live.

Moira is the only resident of the eponymous village who knows what Faith is going through and has offered her support.

She soon feels uncomfortable when she realises how much her lies have escalated.

Aside from her double life, Faith is also forced to deal with the emotional weight of her diagnosis alone.
