Emmerdale: Cain says Mack has made ‘a mistake’

Emmerdale fans know Jimmy King (played by Nick Miles) is Carl’s biological father after a mix-up at the clinic resulted in Juliette being given his sperm by mistake. Jimmy was given some access to Carl after he was born but once Juliette reunited with husband Greg, he was cut off. Carl returned to the village in 2016 and was handed over to Jimmy to care for him full time. But now Juliette has returned and she wants Carl back.

Jimmy and his wife Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) will take drastic steps as they warn Juliette to stay away from Carl in coming scenes.

After taking sole custody of Carl in 2016, Jimmy has grown used to raising his son without Juliette near by.

However, with Juliette lingering around the village, he is worried he will lose his son once again.

Nicola will suggest they tackle the issue head on and meet with Juliette.

The pair prepare to warn her not to come back and stay away from Carl but before they can speak, Juliette drops a bombshell.

Could her revelation make Jimmy and Nicola shut her out of his future and is this the end of it?

Or could it mean the couple have to relent and left Juliette have access to her son once more?

It’s not known what Juliette’s revelation is but if Nicola and Jimmy tell her to leave the village, it could prompt her to take drastic action.

Meanwhile, the King family friend Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) will be dealing with her own setback.

As she continues to struggle with the decision to terminate her pregnancy, she has an alcohol relapse.

Speaking about the storyline, actress Charlotte revealed: “Laurel and Jai are not really communicating well.

“They’re not talking about the termination because it’s too painful, so they’re dealing with it separately.

“That’s obviously very dangerous because they’re both on different paths. They’re both addicts and Laurel really wants a drink.

“It’s a dangerous thing to do but she thinks it’s the only way she can get through this.”

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm.
