EMMERDALE'S Noah Tate is set to become obsessed with Sarah Sugden's friend Chloe in new scenes due to air next week.

Fans of the ITV soap will hear more about Chloe's story, who was recently revealed as the sister of Sarah's heart donor.

Noah joins Sarah on a visit to chat to Chloe, who speaks to them about her lonely family life without her late sister.

As she bursts into tears, the pair have no idea how to comfort her, until Noah finally finds the right words.

After connecting, Noah's feelings start to grow for Chloe and Sarah is horrified to realise he secretly fancies Chloe.

In a bid to spend more time with Chloe, he promises to keep her identity a secret – as long as Sarah continues to let him come along to her and Chloe’s meet-ups.

But things don't play out as Noah hopes and he's soon left red-faced when Chloe hears he has been calling her his girlfriend.

As a result Sarah and Noah are forced to say their goodbyes to Chloe.

But before she leaves, Chloe gifts Sarah with a diamond necklace.

Is this the last the pair will see of Chloe?

Sarah – who is played by Katie Hill in the long-running soap – tracked down the family of her donor after suffering from a health anxiety attack.

Katie recently told Inside Soap magazine: "I'm so pleased that Emmerdale is revisiting Sarah's dramatic past.

"Sarah has a very problematic medical history, and doctors have told her that she might have a shortened life.

"So with Leanna dying and Granny Faith's mystery illness all her fears are definitely heightened… she's consumed by utter fear.

"Sarah is determined to learn about (her donor family), and I can tell you that she's really determined.
