Emmerdale: Nicky confesses to pushing his dad off the cliff
Caleb Milligan (played by William Ash) was recently pushed off the edge of a cliff and left in a coma. Now, viewers have slammed the storyline as ‘ridiculous’ after he woke up from his coma.
Many fans speculated who pushed Caleb, and it was revealed to be his own son Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) on Tuesday night.
Sitting next to his father, he sobbed: “I thought I killed you,” but things turned sour when Caleb admitted he knew Nicky was the one who pushed him.
However, the revelations left fans unhappy with the“far-fetched” storyline and took to their Twitter accounts.
@ladychloe89 fumed: “Caleb wakes up fine from a coma after falling from quite a height onto a tree or rock or whatever is was. Ridiculous #emmerdale.”

However, not all viewers were annoyed with the scenes, as @BenthamFans praised: “Loving these scenes. Do we reckon Caleb will report Nicky to the police for trying to kill him? Or let Mackenzie take the blame.” (sic)
During Wednesday night’s episode, Caleb woke up and left Nicky to worry that he would tell Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) Nicky was the one who pushed him.
As the nurse came to check on him, Nicky was curious: “What’s the verdict?” leaving the nurse to reveal Caleb was making good progress.
“He needs more rest. After what he’s been through, I don’t think he’ll remember much, anyway. I’ll let them know when they can speak to him.”
Caleb spoke to Chas and said: “Still a shock to know that someone hated me enough to want to kill me.”

Nicky jumped in: “The doctor thought that you might not remember much about it, anyway,” before Chas left.
Nicky attempted to leave too but Caleb jumped in: “No. Come on, sit down. There are things me and you need to talk about.
“That would have put you on a murder charge. You can stop pretending that you care because I remember exactly what happened.
“It was you that pushed me. You left me there dying.”
Emmerdale airs weeknights from 7:30pm on ITV.
