EMMERDALE'S Jamie Tate actor Alexander Lincoln has been accused of "spoiling storylines" by furious fans.

The actor, 27, has played the vet on the ITV soap since 2019, but recently was 'killed' off.

Jamie was fleeing the village when he crashed his car into the lake after he tried to answer a call from Gabby Thomas.

When the vehicle was pulled out of the water his body was nowhere to be seen.

Since then viewers have been left scratching their heads over where he is as many don't believe he is dead.

Yesterday he teased that he may be back filming in the Dales as he tweeted: "Getting back to early starts on set today," with a spiral eyes and movie camera emoji.

And now fans of the hit show are furious as he's implied that Jamie ISN'T dead and he's ruined the storyline for them.

One replied to his post: "Oh no spoiler alert!"

Another added: "I've given up on soaps, the actors on socials spoil storylines too often like if they're leaving etc. What's the point if you know what's gonna happen."

A third fumed: "That's that storyline spoiled."

But a fourth pointed out: "Media do spoilers all the time folks, leave Jamie alone else Kim will be after you all Lolz."

The soap star didn't give much away after he ruffled a few feathers with his tweet.

He replied to another angry fan who said that Jamie isn't dead and said: "Unless it’s a different set… Have to wait and see."

Last month Jamie’s fate was finally revealed to a horrified Gabby by his mum Kim Tate.

Kim was told that money had been taken from the vet account and transferred to another and she soon realised what was going on.

She realised her son was more like her than she realised – and had faked his own death to escape her.

“I didn’t think he had it in him,” Kim said looking at the statements from the vets again. 

“This proves he’s his mother’s son alright. He’s chosen to go out guns blazing. 

“To risk everything, to choose life. For the first time he’s done it all on his own. 

“No wonder they can’t find a body. My son, my brilliant boy. He’s still alive.”

Fans were in shock at the twist.

One wrote: "only kim would be impressed at her son faking his own death i cant cope."

A second said: "Kim has worked it out.. Jamie is alive.."
