You Don’t Know Me: Opening moments of BBC drama

Everything Now fans have got their teeth into the Netflix drama, with attention turning to the cast, and particularly to actress Sophie Wilde.
Created by 22-year-old Ripley Parker, the YA drama series centres around 16-year-old Mia (played by Sophie Wilde) who starts Westmere School after spending months at a rehabilitation centre for those with eating disorders.
She may have only been away for a short period but a lot has changed during this time, with Mia realising that her friends have moved on to new chapters in their lives.
Mia is eager to start afresh and seeing these changes pushes her to try and make some of her own.
But with the impact of the past few months still taking its toll, how will the teenager cope with this new and unexpected lifestyle?

What else has Everything Now actress Sophie Wilde been in?
Everything Now’s Mia is portrayed by Australian-Ivorian actress Sophie Wilde.
The 26-year-old is certainly new to the world of entertainment, having only started to appear on screens two years ago.
Nevertheless, Wilde has already been in some memorable television shows, most notably, You Don’t Know Me on BBC One.
She was behind the mysterious Kyra, who Hero (played by Samuel Adewunmi) said was the person that got him involved in the criminal underworld in the first place.

He has to tell his and Kyra’s story in the docks as Hero is tried for the murder of a gangster.
Just before You Don’t Know Me came out, Wilde was in Eden, where the disappearance of a young woman acted as a catalyst for some devastating events in an Australian coastal town.
She went on to appear in the films Talk To Me and Portable Door before the mini-series Tom Jones as Sophia Western earlier this year.
Based on Henry Fielding’s novel, The History of Tom Jones, the four-part series saw the titular character fall head over heels for his charming neighbour Sophia but their difference in class holds them back.

Going by her IMDb profile, it doesn’t seem that Wilde has any other projects in the making so far.
Everything Now has just been released on Netflix with all eight episodes released in one go.
As of yet, it isn’t known if there will be a second outing on the way of the teen comedy-drama.
