Ex-TOWIE star and mother-of-one is eyeing up the challenging TV show, with the likes of Amber Gill and Pete Wicks also tipped to take part in the next series of SAS: Who Dares Wins.
The reality favourite has had a string of secret meetings with executives on the hit Channel 4 show.
An insider told me: "Ferne has been approached about taking part in the new series.
"She loves the idea of doing it, so things are looking promising.
"Producers saw how gutsy Ferne was on I’m A Celebrity a few years ago, so they think she’d be perfect for the show."
Other celebs tipped to take part include Love Island winner Amber Gill, The Only Way Is Essex hunk Pete Wicks, Olympian Jade Jones and boxer Shannon Courtenay.
The insider added: "Producers want to get a really strong line-up for the new series. They need a good mix of stars.
"And, of course, they all need to have a good level of fitness.”
Filming is due to start later this year at a secret SAS military base in Jordan. And Channel 4 will announce the full line-up next year.
The celebs will be put through their paces by new arrivals Rudy Reyes and Remi Adeleke.
They have been hired as instructors after show regular Ant Middleton was dropped.
But Jason Fox and Mark Billingham are staying on.
And fans will be glad to know there will also be a regular series of the show next year.
The format has become one of C4’s biggest series since launching in 2015.
Ferne has historically worked on multiple ITV projects, with TOWIE, I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and even her own show, Ferne McCann: First Time Mum launching on the channel.
However, it won't be her first time working alongside Channel 4, with Ferne previously appearing on Celebs Go Dating – the star is certainly no stranger to popular reality TV shows.
The most recent series of the show wrapped on October 3 as Alexandra Burke, Wes Nelson and Aled Davies all winning the show after a gruelling series.
