Gemma first rose to prominence when she competed in the eighth series of the fan favourite romance competition.
She made it all the way to the final with 23-year-old fishmonger Luca Bish, where the pair finished in second place.
But the duo later split in November after Gemma revealed the news in a post on Instagram.
The pair struggled to make it work to split their time between Brighton, where Luca lives, and north Wales where Gemma lives with her family, including former England football legend Michael Owen.
Love Island is set to make its return to South Africa when it returns to television on 16th January at 9pm.
But it seems the influencer has other plans as she remains focussed on her own money making moves.
TV presenter Maya Jama is set to make her debut as the hit competition returns for its ninth series on ITV2.
