GETHIN Jones wished one of his Morning Live co-stars good luck as he revealed she would be taking some much needed time off to focus on a huge new project.
The star made the announcement as he hosted Thursday's edition of the show with Sara Cox.
He was of course referring to Kimberley Walsh after it was confirmed that she would be heading back out on tour with Girls Aloud as part of a much-anticipated reunion.
The 42 year old and her fellow bandmates sent fans into a frenzy when they revealed they would be taking to the stage once again in May and June next year.
Addressing the announcement, Gethin revealed that Kimberley would be taking a few weeks away from the sofa for the very exciting venture.
Opening the show, he said: "Hello and welcome to Morning Live on a Thursday, we start with some exciting Morning Live family news, don't we?"

Kimberley will reunite with Cheryl, Nadine Coyle and Nicola Roberts for The Girls Aloud Show, which will mark the first time they have toured as a four-piece.
