Good Morning Britain hosts Adil Ray and Kate Garraway were forced to apologise for a guest's language live on-air.

On Monday's programme (April 18), the hosting duo welcomed Ukrainian businessman Andrey Stavnitser onto the show to talk about how he decided to bomb his own house after learning Russians had taken it over.

Andrey had a number of security cameras set up in his mansion and could access some cameras after fleeing for safety.

However, his security team didn't go unscathed and were stripped off and led into the woods after being interrogated for days by Russian soldiers.

After learning what had happened once his team had finally reached safety, the businessman decided it was better to blow up his house after the Russians began using it as a base.

Talking about his decision, after being branded a hero by the Ukrainian people, he said: "I want to do everything possible to help Ukraine win because I think we are safeguarding Europe's safety and it is important for us to get those b******* out of our land.

"So, it was just a little piece that I could do."

Host Adil then interjected to say: "We'll just apologise for your choice of language there but a lot of people might well agree with your sentiments."

GMB viewers then took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the interview and his swearing slip-up.

One user said: "Perfect choice of words and an apology not needed #GMB"

A second added: "Forget B******, he should of called them dirty c****. #GMB"

However, others questioned how he got out of the country and said: "#GMB how did he manage to get to poland he looks under 60 & over 18 i believe he is talking shit"

While another wrote: "How many bribes did this guy pay to get out of Ukraine? #GMB
