KEITH Lemon has made a shock dig at his friend Holly Willoughby by claiming she was the 'tightest' Celebrity Juice host.

The comedian, 47, was asked who was the most generous of his former co-stars in a new podcast and said Laura Whitmore and Fearne Cotton were "generous" and "kind".

However, Keith – real name Leigh Francis – branded Holly a penny pincher and also teased that she "complained the most" when they starred on the show together.

According to The Mirror, Keith said on The Chris KaMOREa Podcast: "Who is the tightest? Well, Laura Whitmore is very generous.

"For Christmas, I was after, you know, Baby Yoda from Mandalorian – and she got me one."

He added: "Fearne was very kind, she'd often get me something from Vivienne Westwood."

Is Holly the tightest? I don't know, she's got lovely eyes.

However, Keith apparently then said: "Who is the tightest? Emily [Atack] has just started making her money so I guess she didn't have any money in the past… Is Holly the tightest? I don't know, she's got lovely eyes."

The podcast is the latest venture by former footballer Chris Kamara.

Although his launch episode featuring Keith is yet to go live, it has also been reported that the telly comic accuses Holly of being the host who 'complained the most'.

Holly quit Celebrity Juice in May 2020 after working on the ITV2 show for 12 years.

The TV presenter, who has three children with her producer husband Dan Baldwin, said she wanted to spend more time with her family.

FAMILY TIME

Writing on Instagram, she confirmed at the time: "All good things must come to an end and nothing lasts forever."

Holly wrote: "Thank you @celebjuiceofficial for 12 years of fantastic chaos… I can’t quite believe what we’ve done and how quick that time has gone.

"Thank you to you all for watching..we’ve always had the loudest and best audiences. Also a huge thank you to @itv2 for believing in the show in the first place and for all of your support…

"Over the years the production team has changed, however to anyone lucky enough to have worked on the show, they will know that we really do have the best time, it’s never felt like work and always been to me like a night out… Thank you for all your ingenious ideas and hard work… all good things must come to an end and nothing lasts forever… "

Holly continued: "It’s time for me to hand over my team captain seat to some lucky lucky person… whoever that is, know you are about to get one of the best jobs in telly working with one of comedies finest… @keithlemon."

FRIENDS FOREVER

Praising Keith, she added: "Where to begin… I remember starting this journey with you and saying ‘I think this might work’… my goodness me it did… three friends, you me and @fearnecotton … and that is what is at the heart of it.. friendship… I love the bones of you Lemon!

"Thank you for making me laugh for twelve years… I’ll be back as a guest and just to make sure someone is keeping you in check… if I don’t see you through a week or next week or the week after… know you are always in my heart…"

Keith responded to Holly, writing on his own account: "Love this woman. What an incredible sport. Always willing to get her hands dirty and join in. One of the boys but all woman."

He added: "I've had a lovely time working with you. You are the best! I hope I'm lucky enough to work with you again one day."

The current Celebrity Juice Team Captains are Emily Atack and Laura Whitmore. Maya Jama was confirmed as a regular panellist in May this year.
