Phillip Schofield: ‘It was consensual, but it was my fault’
This Morning will certainly look a little bit different today as Holly Willoughby is returning from a break to present without Phillip Schofield.
The pair have hosted together for over a decade but following Phillip’s admission of an affair with a male colleague, he stepped back from his ITV roles.
ITV have launched an external investigation into Phillip’s affair with a colleague, which he insists the mother-of-three did not know about.
When Phillip confirmed the affair, Holly said: “When reports of this relationship first surfaced, I asked Phil directly if this was true and was told it was not. It’s been very hurtful to now find out that this was a lie. Holly.”
Despite the controversy surrounding This Morning, Holly has been adamant she would return to host.
