I’m A Celeb 2023 stars get emotional as they’re reunited with loved ones after leaving the jungle

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here fans were left in tears as they watched this year's campmates get reunited with their nearest and dearest.

ITV aired a special reunion show on Wednesday, 13 December, just days after the live final, and stars such as Josie Gibson, Marvin Humes and Tony Bellew all had emotional reunions with their families and friends.

First up was JLS singer Marvin, 38, who couldn’t wait to head across the bridge to his wife Rochelle Humes.

The singer embraced Rochelle in some emotional scenes, but there was another phone call the JLS star was desperate to make.

As soon as the TV star had the chance, he was on Facetime with his children, Alaia-Mai,10, and Valentina Raine, six, and their three-year-old son Blake Hampton.

Marvin was visibly emotional as he told the little ones how much he missed them during his stint down under.

As he wiped away a tear, he said: “I have missed you so much,” and the youngsters seemed just as happy to have their dad back.

However, Marvin had another emotional phone call to make as he made a Facetime call to his JLS bandmates, who seemed very proud of him.

When Marvin returned to the hotel, he was on hand to tell Josie Gibson’s son Reggie: “Your mummy loves you so much, okay. She can’t wait to see you.”

And Reggie, five, didn’t have to wait long, as the next day Josie was voted out of camp, and had a special reunion with her son.

As she got out of the van, she raced over and scooped up Reggie, and with tears in her eyes, she gave him the biggest cuddle and told him how much she loves him and she had missed him.

The little one agreed, telling her that he had missed her too, and the mother-and-son duo spent the rest of the day together.

When out of the jungle, the cameras followed them as Josie returned to mum duties with Reggie asking for a chocolate pizza.

However, when they returned to the hotel, it was Reggie who had a surprise for his mum, as there was a plate of fruit in their room with the words: “Mum, love Reggie.”

As the scenes continued, Josie, 38, organised a surprise chocolate pizza to be delivered to their room, and the duo sat down and spent some quality time together eating the pizza.

The scenes left the fans at home in love with their relationship, with one person saying: “Josie and Reggie, so freaking cute!”

While another penned: “Aw, Josie and Reggie.”

The emotional scenes didn’t end there as the show later aired the moment runner-up Tony was reunited with his wife, Rachael Roberts, and their children Corey, 18, Cobey, 15, Carter, 11, and Carson, three.

As he spotted his sons for the first time, the 41 year old could be seen wiping away tears from his eyes.

He told his children: “I’ve missed them more than life itself.”

However, the special moment was soon interrupted as they told their dad: “You stink!”

That moment got to the fans at home, as one person said: “Nah, I thought I was over that moment with Tony and Rachel, but nope, just made me all emotional again.”

While another wrote: “Seeing Tony getting so emotional again is getting me.”

Last up, it was time for King of the Jungle Sam Thompson, his partner Zara McDermott wasn’t in Australia to meet him, but as soon as he could he video-called her, and that left him in tears.

He called her his pet name, “baby goose” and then revealed “I’ve missed you so much,” before covering his eyes.
