Inside Jersey Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro's arrest & jail time for domestic violence after assaulting ex | The Sun

JERSEY Shore star Ronnie Ortiz-Magro was arrested for domestic violence in Los Angeles on April 21st 2021.

The legal trouble came less than two years after he was arrested and charged with assaulting his ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Jenn Harley.

According to Los Angeles Sheriff's Department records obtained by The Sun last year, Ronnie, 36, was arrested at 11:50 a.m. that day, and taken into custody at the Van Nuys jail.

The Jersey Shore star was bailed out at 7:18 pm, and had to return to court to face charges on October 13th.

The alleged victim had not been named, though Jenn's boyfriend confirmed she was not involved in the incident.

Ronnie told TMZ late last year that he was ready to return to the show – which he is doing in just days.

SHOCK ALLEGATIONS

At the time of his arrest, the reality star's attorney, Scott Leemon, told TMZ: "We have just learned of the new allegations against Ronnie and need some additional time to further investigate.

"As such, we will not be making any other statements at this time.”

According to TMZ, Ronnie and Jenn's daughter Ariana, 3, was in his custody at the time of the alleged assault.

According to her Instagram, Jenn drove from her home in Las Vegas to LA to pick up her daughter, who allegedly was in Ronnie's brother's care.

The arrest came as the MTV star was on probation.

He was previously sentenced to 36 months of probation as part of a plea deal following a domestic violence case involving Jenn in 2019.

Ronnie, 35, split from Jenn, 32, after the assault.

Ronnie was tasered and arrested after he allegedly hit Jenn, threatened her with a knife and “kidnapped” their daughter, Ariana.

He was charged with felony domestic violence, child endangerment, making criminal threats and brandishing a weapon.

The MTV star eventually negotiated a plea deal in the domestic violence case.

TMZ later reported at the time that Ronnie avoided jail time, but was sentenced to probation for three years.

Ronnie was also ordered to complete a 52-week domestic violence program and 30 days of community labor in Nevada.

Additionally, he was ordered to donate $20,000 to Jewish Family Services of L.A., a battered women’s shelter.

A three-year protective order was issued for Jenn against Ronnie.

The aftermath of Ronnie and Jenn's relationship was heavily documented on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation.

Fans have called for Ronnie to be fired from the show in the aftermath of his most recent arrest.

One viewer wrote: "Isn't it time to fire Ronnie? When is it going to be enough?"

MTV did not comment on the incident at the time.
