KATY Perry and Orlando Bloom showed exactly how to keep romance alive as the couple holidayed in Venice.

The showbiz pair were all smiles as they shared snaps of their luxury break – complete with romantic gondola rides and a £4,300-a-night hotel.

Katy, 36, and Orlando, 44, shared a glimpse into their time away in the water-filled Italian city.

Katy uploaded pictures which showed herself enjoying the sun in a cute yellow sundress and matching sunhat, while standing on a bridge.

Another saw the singer lounging on a boat with her pet pooch Nugget on her lap.

Showing the opulence of their accommodation, a final snap shows Orlando stretching out on a plush bed, above him an ornately decorated ceiling.

The couple, who welcomed daughter Daisy in August 2020, are staying at the stunning Aman Hotel with their family.

Orlando's 10-year-old son Flynn from his marriage to Australian model Miranda Kerr, has also joined his dad on the trip alongside Daisy.

The eye-catching hotel is set in one of Venice's eight monumental palazzos on the Grand Canal – the 16th-century Palazzo Papadopoli.

Its decor includes a mix of sumptuous Rococo works of art and contemporary accents by Jean-Michel Gathy – a well-known hotel interior designer.

The venue also promises "opulent dining venues and spacious suites."

Each of the opulent rooms have high ceilings, giving them a spacious feel.

While guests are also welcome to step outside to spend time in their private gardens.

Orlando also took to his own Instagram page to show they were enjoying the tourist view of the floating city by sitting back to enjoy a gondola ride on the Grand Canal.

The engaged couple had drinks in their hands as they took in the scenery, before kissing under a bridge.

The Lord of the Rings star also took a video of a pizza being made, plus another loved up snap of him cuddling up to the American Idol judge.

The British actor captioned his set of snaps: "🍕dump and a kiss under the bridge for good luck 🍀".

Katy, who was married to comedian Russell Brand, previously gushed about Orlando: “I’m really, really grateful to have him.

"And he really shows up in a huge emotional way, which is unique for me.”
