Inside Stacey Solomon’s huge £1.2m Pickle Cottage home with 'cosy corner', library and 2.5 acres of land

STACEY Solomon has given fans a sneak peek at her enormous new Essex home which features its own library at 2.5 acres of land.

The 31-year-old revealed the exciting news they had found their £1.2million "forever home" back in March.

Since then mum-of-three Stacey kept her fans up to date with all the renovations that have taken place.

Most recently the DIY queen totally transformed her conservatory into a purple haven with £11.99 flower garlands hung from the ceiling.

She also gave their Wendy House in their huge garden a lick of paint, which is located very near to their swimming pool and hot tub.

She has shown off her incredible "cosy corner" in Pickle Cottage as she continues to makeover the Essex property.

Sharing a snap of the space, she added: "Cosy corner done."

It also features comfortable looking white chairs and a stylish grey entertainment unit and floor to ceiling windows giving a view of Pickle Cottage's impressive grounds.

She shared a snap of her rustic fireplace, telling followers: "I love looking through this little gap in the beams I don't know why but I just do.

"I can't believe this is our front room. I feel like I'm looking into someone else's house.

"I can't wait for the lovely lady we got pickle cottage from to pop by (she still pops by we love her) and she can sit with us on our sheep sofas by her old fireplace."

Earlier this month the star tackled youngest son Rex's bedroom and managed to give it an amazing make-over on a budget.

She also showed off a jaw-dropping staircase transformation as she ditched the red carpet around the house and stripped back the oak in each room.

Stacey loves to share all her transformations on Instagram, and one that divided fan opinions was her decision to paint over her traditional fireplace in Rex's room.

She painted over the oak wood, white tiling and a gorgeous floral pattern with a matte black and grey paint.

The telly star has also proudly showed off her blue toilet transformation last month.

Stacey and Joe's bedroom was one of the first things she tackled and wasted no time letting her Lion King mirror take centre stage of the space.

The impressive pad has come on leaps and bounds since she revealed the property on Instagram in March.

After announcing the exciting news on her page she went on to show teasers of the scenic landscape around the property, which has been aptly named Pickle Cottage after her youngest son Rex, who is nicknamed "pickle".

Pictures showed a closer look at the huge home, which features Tudor-style wooden beam detailing on the outside of the property.

The wooden beams run throughout the country home, with Stacey detailed is "further from the city and closer to their family" in Essex.

The kitchen is fitted with oak cupboards and a large green cooker and gas hob, with tiled flooring and large panelled windows.

Underneath large chandelier lights, the dining rooms looks out onto the acres of land that come with the home, making it a perfect setting to raise her boys Zachary, 11, Leighton, eight, and Rex, one.

A small snug living room sits on the side of the house, as well as a bright conservatory and large carpeted drawing room with library shelves.

Upstairs there are multiple bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a large dressing table space, and a family bathroom.

Admitting the house needs "love and TLC", she and fiancé Joe Swash hinted they may be renovating the opulent property.

She told her Instagram following last week: "So, for a very long time Joe and me have been searching for our forever home, further from the city and closer to our family.

"A few months ago we saw a house that we couldn't even believe was on the market and in the same budget as our house now.

"There were so many signs. I really believe in signs and they were everywhere it just didn't seen real. We thought it was too good to be true.

"We have not wanted to say anything just in case it didn't happen. Today we got confirmation that everything could go ahead.

"I think we just thought for so long that something would go wrong so today just didn't feel real. But it is real.

"The house needs lots of love and TLC which can cannot wait to show it with. But Pickle Cottage is going to be ours and we cannot wait."

Stacey shared a variety of pictures from the outside of the home and the surrounding lands in the sunshine as she shared the good news.
