While Jamie-Lynn kept her daughter’s life largely out of the public eye she would occasionally share photos of the youngster on social media.
In 2017 when Maddie was eight, it was revealed the youngster suffered a freak ATV accident when she was flipped into the family’s pond.
She was submerged underwater for several minutes and as Jamie Lynn later recalled in her 2022 memoir, Things I Should Have Said, Maddie was unconscious and “eerily blue” when she was pulled out from the water.
Thankfully, she made a full recovery and suffered no brain damage after the traumatic event.
