I’m A Celebrity’s Fred Sirieix couldn’t resist grilling Jamie Lynn Spears about sister Britney’s iconic kiss with Madonna.
In 2009, Britney and Madonna sent the world into meltdown at the MTV Video Music Awards by sharing a kiss live on stage.
Christina Aguilera later shared a smooch with Madonna too.
With Jamie Lynn now in the ITV Australian jungle after a highly publicised fall out with big sister Brit, she’s been batting off questions from the rest of her camp about living in the music superstar’s shadow.
On Friday night’s episode, First Dates star Fred was next up to grill the Sweet Magnolias actress, focusing on the landmark moment.

“I’ve never asked you about your sister, but I was just thinking about, do you remember when she kissed Madonna, or Madonna kissed her. How did it come about?” he asked.
“They just did it. I was at home watching like, ‘Oh OK, this will be fun tomorrow at school, can’t wait,” she responded.
Jamie Lynn continued: “Anything my sister did I always thought was the best. When it came to my sister, even if I felt anything, if anyone said anything I was ready to go.
“I was like, ‘Don’t talk about my sister, she’s the best.’ And so literally I just thought – and by the way, in today’s world it would mean nothing – but it was this iconic moment that they went with and it happened and it’s what they did.”

“My mum was like, ‘It’s artistic, she’s expressing herself,’” Jamie Lynn added about sister Lynne’s reaction.
When Fred asked who became famous out of the two siblings first, Jamie Lynn said it was Britney who show their family into the spotlight.
“She’s 10 years older. She was famous since I was about 6 or 7,” she said.
However, things came to a half when Frankie Dettori, a later addition to the camp, asked if they no longer got on, simply saying she “loved her sister” before ending the conversation.
Jamie Lynn has been careful about her ongoing feud with Britney – which was spurred on by the highly publicised conservatorship the singer was under for 13 years.
Britney maintains Jamie Lynn financially benefited from her being under the restrictive legislation that stopped Britney from having control of her own money and personal choices.
It resulted in the pair having online spats on Instagram, but Jamie Lynn insists that ‘sisters fight’ and, despite statements to the contrary in Britney’s memoir, The Woman In Me, they did love each other.
She even claimed she spoke to Britney before entering the jungle.
I’m A Celebrity continues weeknights at 9pm on ITV.
