Former sex worker Michelle Wallace appeared on ITV's The Jeremy Kyle Show in 2018 and was addicted to heroin for over 20 years.

She was brought on the show by her daughter and sister under the segment: "My prostitute sister blames our dad for her 20 year addiction" after she battled the drug.

However, after appearing on the show and getting the support she needed, Michelle has celebrated being four years sober this month and continues to praise the ITV show.

Michelle recently took to TikTok to share her celebrations as she received a cake and flowers alongside balloons with the number 4 sprawled across it.

She shared a photo of her holding the cake as she used the track Celebration by Kool & The Gang while she wrote: "Celebrating my four years clean, off out tomorrow for a meeting then a meal."

Michelle was immediately hit with support as one user wrote: "Well done," while another added: "Absolutely incredible gorgeous – you are smashing it."

A third wrote: "Well done Michelle proud of you girl, here's to the next four years."

Shortly after, Michelle shared another TikTok of her dancing as she headed out for the night in a red top and black miniskirt with a black coat thrown over as she looked happier than ever.

Michelle now looks a far cry from her 2018 self who had dark brunette hair with a fringe when she appeared on the show looking incredibly thin and frail due to drug use.

But now with her blonde hair and happier exterior, Michelle looks completely different compared to the woman who appeared on the show years prior suffering with drug abuse.

Last year, show psychologist Graham Stanier posted a statement from Michelle on his Instagram account as she confessed to being "frightened" when they first came to her home after the show.

She said: "My drug use was so out of control I had given up on life, I just wanted to die. I didn’t want to live anymore, I couldn’t live the life anymore, so I’m so blessed that my beautiful princess emailed the show as she knew her mom was in there somewhere."

She added: "I couldn't be any more happier with what I have in my life today."

Michelle’s statement concluded: "Thank you for everyone that believed in me, I put my hands up today for all the wrongs and people I’ve hurt but I make amends."
