Kate Ferdinand shows off her slim waist as husband Rio calls her a 'yummy mummy' after she said she felt abnormal

KATE Ferdinand was praised by her adoring husband Rio as a "yummy mummy" as she got dressed up for a night out.

The 29-year-old – who gave birth to her first child, son Cree, in December – went to celeb hotspot Sheesh.

She posed in white trousers, a brown blazer and holding a tiny orange bag in the garden of the famous Essex restaurant.

Former Manchester United and England star Rio, 42, wrote appreciatively: "🔥Yummy mummy🔥."

The star's Geordie Shore pal Vicky Pattison put it rather more bluntly writing: "Looking fit mate 😍."

Former Towie star Kate then posed with a group of ladies by one of the outdoor tables writing: "Love you girls 🤎."

She later Instagrammed her whole meal, including a dessert of profiteroles and huge orbs of ice-cream writing: "Dreamy 😍."

Earlier this month Kate told The Sun she had been left feeling "abnormal" after her son was born.

She explained: “There are so many things about motherhood that no one tells you. I’d had the baby and I was in this whirlwind of emotion.

“My body was not the body I recognised. I felt really overwhelmed. I was feeling really abnormal and I started panicking. ‘Am I meant to be feeling like this?’

“I was so happy but very emotional. And I was looking through social media and thinking, ‘Is this normal? Because no one ever says this’.

“I thought, ‘If I put up a photo of me with my hair and make up done perfect, that is not real and it is not how I feel’.

“I felt like I had to share it. And then it was crazy the amount of people who told me they felt the same. I think that’s why it is right to not share the perfect pictures all the time.

“When you are going through post-pregnancy, you can’t see out of the bubble. You think, ‘I am never going to go back to normal or feel the same again’."
