Katie Price tells fans she’s ‘opposite’ of broke and insists Mucky Mansion is worth £2.2m despite huge bankruptcy debts | The Sun

KATIE Price has addressed the confusion surrounding her finances after being declared bankrupt in 2019.

Earlier this year the 45-year-old once again swerved facing a grilling from her creditors in court, with the case being adjourned at the last minute.

It's thought former glamour model Katie has debts of more than £3m – but she was quick to hit back at fans branding her "broke".

During a TikTok live today, the mum-of-five answered questions from her followers and didn't hold back when it came to money and her infamous Mucky Mansion.

She quipped: "I live in my own £2.2m house, I own it, nobody can ever take it away from me. I wouldn't call that broke, would you?"

And Katie later addressed the subject again, insisting: "I'm not poor actually, totally the opposite, but thank you."

Following a career as one of the UK's most successful glamour girls, Katie was thought to have a personal fortune of £45m.

She is set to appear in court to answer questions over failing to stick to the voluntary repayment agreement of £12,000 a month.

Katie, who has avoided being grilled in person since November 2021, was due to appear in court at noon on April 12.

However court officials revealed the case had been adjourned at the last minute and a new date was arranged.

In January Katie insisted being declared bankrupt was "not the end of the world".

She said: "Anyone who is out there in a bankruptcy, it's not the end of the world.

"Lots of people go into bankruptcies, and I think it's quite good that I am in a bankruptcy, it's made me re-value things.

"Everything in my life is now in place, never be embarrassed about being in a bankruptcy."
