Lauryn Goodman furiously hits back at trolls who accuse her of DYING her baby's hair 'so he looks like his brothers'

LAURYN Goodman has laughed off claims from online trolls that she dyes her son Kairo's hair so he looks more like his brothers.

The mum-of-one, 30, is raising the one-year-old son she shares with Man City star Kyle Walker as a single mum.

And she said the claims she's altered Kairo's hair colour to resemble the footballer's other sons Riaan, Reign and Roman were "super weird".

Writing on Instagram, Lauryn said: "Honestly I ignore the BS couldn't care less what people say. People can be super weird [laughing emojis]. Make things up and run with it.

"Oh the ones about I die his hair to be like his brothers. I honestly know I'm a very good mother and I've done the best I can by Kairo. No matter what people may have speculated in the beginning I think my journey has shown otherwise."

Kairo features heavily on doting mum Lauryn's social media, although she chooses not to show his face.

She shares the ups and downs of her parenting journey and interacts with other mums through Q&A sessions on her stories.

Earlier this year she revealed how Kairo's name was inspired by hit Netflix series Money Heist.

She told Closer: “I really liked how all the characters were named after cities. That’s how I chose his name, Kairo, after Egypt’s capital but spelt with a ‘K’ to make it unique.”

Lauryn also defended giving Kairo his dad's surname after the pair only had a short fling in 2019.

“Single mums have questioned why Kairo’s surname is Walker because they say they don’t want to give the father the satisfaction of them having their surname," she said.

"It was a mutual decision to name him Walker and I honoured that.

“I appreciate there was speculation, but I don’t feel I constantly have to justify myself for any decisions that are made with our son.”

She also revealed it can be hard being a single mum, but having her CBB star sister Chloe Goodman also raising a daughter at the same time is a big help.

Chloe gave birth to Isla in June last year.

“Every time I feel like breaking down, I look at my son. He gives me inner strength and courage I never knew I had,” Lauryn explained.

“And it’s been amazing sharing the first year of parenthood with my sister. Being able to bubble up, as we both have children under one, has been a huge help."

She added: “Kairo loves Isla and he is always trying to cuddle and kiss her. It’s so cute. We’ve had to try to teach them to share toys!”
