They have become loved amongst fans and were even revealed as the public's favourite couple.

After the winners were announced, seething fans headed straight to their keyboards to fume over the result.

One viewer shared: "Am I tweaking or didn’t Sammy literally say he wasn’t attracted to Jess. Whitney and lochan were robbed."

"WTF WHITNEY didn’t WIN ?? How did Sammy and Jess win? WHIT & LOCAN YALL WERE ROBBED. WTF," fumed a second person.

Another fan echoed: "Nah. I'm done with this show. Whit was robbed. She's still a winner to me and wishing her the best with all what's next to come for her."

While a fifth added: "Surely, they announced the wrong people being the winners, I mean there was error after error tonight. Someone fess up. The only possible winners was Whitney &Lochan. Anything other than that is wrong."

Whitney said their journey was the "too good too be true" kind, before telling Lochan she couldn't wait to continue things on the outside.

While Lochan admitted Whitney had made the experience the best of his life, later revealing he could see himself "truly falling" for her when they leave the villa.
