Love Island fans cringed during the latest episode after Shaq Muhammad and Tanya Manhenga got carried away in the hideaway.

During Friday night's episode (January 27), the hideaway was opened to the islanders for the very first time.

Choosing who should go into the private love nest, the contestants thought Shaq and Tanya were the most deserving couple.

As the pair got comfortable in the secret room, temperatures quickly rose as Tanya put on raunchy dance for Shaq which involved saucy sex toys.

But as the pair enjoyed their time away from the others, viewers at home appeared to be uncomfortable with the scenes and headed over to Twitter to share their views.

Taking to the platform, one fan wrote: "We don’t need to see this hideaway business… it’s not giving."

Another said: "This is so cringeeee."

A third penned: "Can we cut to commercials or something."

Meanwhile a fourth added: "What am I actually watching rn."

But if viewers were uncomfortable with the S&M styled scenes, they were left even more shocked when Shaq and Tanya appeared to get hot and steamy under the sheets.

Taking to Twitter again, stunned viewers shared their thoughts.

One person wrote: "Shaq got Tanya skipping through the bedroom, he must have put in work in the hideaway."

Another said: "You guys haven’t seen the early seasons of love island if you think shad and Tanya have done something crazy."

While a third added: "Tanya and Shaq? It's been a week… what did I miss."

During Thursday's recoupling, Shaq made it clear that he really liked Tanya and admitted that he feels he could possibly fall in love with her.

He gushed: "From the second I saw her, she blew me away. The time we've spent together so far has been amazing.

"I want to explore the connection we've built. I can see myself falling in love with her."

Smiling from ear to ear, Tanya was clearly impressed with his choice of words.

At the moment, the young couple appear to be the strongest pairing in the villa, with fans evidently excited and intrigued by their blossoming romance.
