Love Island’s Faye gets CCTV at home after break in so she can spy on Teddy when she’s not there

LOVE Island stars Teddy Soares and Faye Winter have increased security at their home after a terrifying break in.

The couple moved into their dream home together just three months after finishing as runner-ups on the show last summer.

But they've had to install CCTV and an alarm system that immediately calls the police if the alarm goes off.

Faye teased that she'd be keeping track of Teddy's whereabouts and easily be able to spy on him when she's not there.

It's after thieves broke into Teddy's car and stole Faye's brand new camera.

The reality star said: "Team you guys might remember when me and Teddy got our car broken into, well since then our security has been high priority for me and I got the boys at Alpha to come and do the CCTV properly."

The former estate agent continued: "We've obviously had the cameras, but they've come and they've been sick – so now I can see when Ted comes home, take pictures of it, send it to him.

"If he tries to say to me that he's home at half past six and he's home at twenty-five to seven, you better believe I am sending him a picture like 'you liar'."

The pair recently praised the cops for stepping up security after they reported the incident.

Faye told OK!: “It’s hard, but it’s in the hands of the police and what can we do.

“The police were so helpful and they know where we are with alarm system going directly to them and we have seen a lot more police patrolling which has been really nice.”

Teddy didn't notice the car break-in at first as thieves managed to get in without breaking any windows.

But he thought "something was off" after realising his car seat had been moved.

Teddy added: “It is massively [scary]. We could hear voices but we didn’t really think anything of it.

“Then we went to get a McDonald’s quite late at night and I noticed my chair had been moved so I knew it was unusual and then the next day Faye needed her camera and I realised it wasn’t there.

“It felt so strange getting into my car in and out for a while knowing someone had touched all my stuff and invaded my privacy.”

Although the couple want to share their lives with fans on social media, they've had to be careful about what they post about their home.

Explaining the horrible invasion of privacy at the time, Faye said: “Today has not been the greatest of days.

"Teddy has been saying something has been off for like two days and turns out somebody has broken into his car and taken my camera and my shoes."

She continued revealing that it was brand new camera – and joked there fortunately wasn’t a sex tape on it.

"Great, the camera that I bought last week. I have no words. There some absolutions (sic) scum heads out there.

"Enjoy my camera hun, shame there's not a sex tape on it.

"Do you know what the worst thing about this is? Is that these people haven't broken into the car and been like: 'Haha, really smug I'm a thief and I'm really pleased with myself' and broken a window, they've done it really slyly, got into the car somehow.

"Yesterday, Teddy got into the car and was like: 'Oh my seat's really far forward and it's never like that'. And then we didn't think any more of it until today that all our s**t's gone out of the car that we're like: 'Well, these thieves are now sly thieves'.

"They're not even brutally honest, upfront, honest thieves, if there's even such a thing.”

She added: "There's worse things going on in the world, I know. But it's just like an invasion isn't it? It's just not nice."

Faye and Teddy met and fell in love on Love Island over the summer and have been living together ever since.
