LOVE Island star Maura Higgins has been rushed into hospital after accidentally slicing her finger to the bone.
The 31-year-old reality favourite, who appeared on the reality show in 2019, shared a picture of herself in A&E tonight.
Still wearing her tracksuit bottoms and a pair of fluffy Louis Vuitton slippers, she explained how the nightmare unfolded.
Maura wrote: "Ended up in A&E after slicing my finger to the bone… Happy F***ing Monday!!"
The star appeared to be waiting for medical attention in the Emergency Department when she posted on Instagram following her major kitchen mishap.
The Irish star has only just returned from a luxury holiday in the Maldives to mark her 31st birthday.
She rose to fame on Love Island, when she was in a couple with co-star Curtis Pritchard, 25, but they split shortly after the show.
Maura then struck up a relationship with another Islander, Chris Taylor, going public with a dramatic post – but that too was short lived.

She went on to date Strictly Come Dancing pro Giovanni Pernice, 31, before they split in October.
Last year, Maura became a millionaire after turning her popularity on Love Island into a huge money-spinner thanks to a string of deals.
The former grid girl bagged £500,000 from both clothing brand Boohoo and lingerie giant Ann Summers, where she is the face of their new swimwear range.
She also made £250,000 from tan company Bellamianta and another £150,000 for appearance on ITV series Dancing on Ice.
