Olivia Hawkins lashed out at Ron Hall on Thursday night’s episode of Love Island and labelled him as a “fake friend”.
As the Movie Night drama continues, Olivia saw clips of Ron making a series of remarks about her as he claimed she “couldn’t get” Tom Clare, whom she was briefly coupled up with.
While Ron remained faithful to Lana during his time at the infamous Casa Amor, he appeared to spend his time stirring the pot elsewhere instead – and has really ruffled Olivia’s feathers.
“I already knew he was a fake friend. I don’t need him,” Olivia loudly told the girls.
Calling him out on him saying that Olivia would recouple in a bid to stay in the villa, Ron insisted: “I’ve said that to you – that you’d recouple.”
Changing the subject, she says: “You said I couldn't get Tom.”
“Isn’t that true?” Ron hits back, and Claudia quickly interjected all while Lana Jenkins looked seething at her partner.
Following the evident tension between Olivia and Ron after his comments, Love Island fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
“As much as we don’t like Olivia, we need to remember that this IS Ron egging people on,” said one person.
“Olivia is more embarrassed than anything… everything Ron said was true, it’s just obvious now he’s the biggest game player in the house… FYI we all saw that she couldn’t bag Tom,” another added.
Dozens of others also thought that Ron was “right” about what he said about Olivia.
Elsewhere, Will Young’s antics came to light leaving his partner Jessie Wynter undecided how to feel.
The first few clips show him heavily flirting with bombshell Layla as they do something “naughty” in bed.
Will claimed that she simply tried to cuddle him, while the likes of Samie and Tanya were convinced, from the looks of the video, that something more may have happened.
While the farmer appeared to have had his head turned, by the end of the clip he was declaring his feelings for Jessie to the boys as he realised he may have jumped the gun with Layla.
The video left Jessie confused how to feel. Tearing up, the girls were quick to rally around her.
Things also came to blows with Samie and Tom, with Samie appearing to consider calling things off with him.
Love Island continues each night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
