Thomas Hartley got chins wagging during Monday night's Married At First Sight reunion as he rocked up in a pink fitted dress and matching pink hair.
Thomas, who had been married to Adrian Sanderson throughout the explosive experiment, turned up with his partner despite the pair not making it to the show’s final vows.
Usually one to make a scene with his iconic one-liners, this time the Liverpudlian made a statement with his bold outfit instead – with some viewers comparing him to a Power Ranger.
“I wasn’t ready for Thomas’ outfit,” quipped one viewer, as someone else wrote: “Ok I like Thomas but that outfit is erm… loud.”
“Has Thomas joined the Power Rangers?” questioned another, as a fourth fan compared him to a Flamingo.
While some questioned Thomas’ outfit, relationship experts Mel Schilling and Charlene Douglas shared love. for the daring ensemble.
“They look really happy together, and I love to coordination of those outfits,” said Charlene, noting that Adrian was also in an all-pink ensemble.
“I love it too,” agreed Mel. “This is a beautiful pair of individuals coming together to support each other, and they’re doing it in pink.”
While Adrian and Thomas are no longer romantically involved, it’s evident that they still have a lot of time for each other.
Adrian said to the camera: “While me and Thomas didn’t last as a romantic couple, I’m so glad we’ve remained good friends.”
Thomas added: “I’ve got his back and he’s got mine, and no one can ever come between that.”
MAFS fans also gushed about the pair being able to remain friends.
“I love Adrian and Thomas's bond and the level of respect they have for each other. It's nice to watch amid the chaos of this show,” said one person.
“I LOVE that Thomas & Adrian are still friends,” added another, as a third wrote: “I will never not root for Thomas and Adrian. I'm so glad they're friends but if they find their way into each others arms one day I'll be campaigning for a royal wedding level of fanfare. Lovely people both of them”.
Meanwhile, others called for the pair to get their own TV show.
Things haven’t always been smooth running between the pair, with both Thomas and Adrian often being on different pages, including when they had to reveal if they wanted to stay or leave in one of the final commitment ceremonies.
The heartbreaking moment saw Adrian vote to stay in the experiment to try work things out, while Thomas voted to go. And while the pair did decide to give things another go, they ultimately parted ways at the last dinner party before the reunion event.
