THE Underworld factory is at the core of all problems as Stephen Reid attempts to make a run for it before justice catches up.
This week in Coronation Street, the serial killer targets Michael Bailey and cons him into sending him a whopping amount of cash.
Stephen Reid (played by Todd Boyce) is well aware that his time is running out and is adamant on escaping a certain prison sentence.
After Leo Thompkins' body was found, the businessman was confronted by an angry Carla Connor who figured out he'd spiked her with LSD.
But as he continues to walk on eggshells this week on ITV, the criminal pulls off one last trick before he jets off to Thailand with Jenny Connor on his arm.
And unfortunately for him, a trusting Michael Bailey (Ryan Russell) becomes his primary target.

Coming up, Stephen tricks an oblivious Michael into enabling him to transfer the full balance of Underworld’s account into a bogus one he has set up.
Carla (Alison King) is shocked when she gets a notification of the transfer.
Despite being skilled at hiding his tracks, Stephen is found out by his own loved ones.
The Platt family are stunned when Sarah (Tina O'Brien) breaks the news of Stephen defrauding Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls) and drugging Carla.

Stephen leaves his flat but he is attacked by a furious Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne).
Audrey arrives and sends the cabbie packing much to Stephen’s relief.
But he's met with another shock when his mother accuses him of stealing her house, after finding out what he had been up to.
DS Swain learns that Stephen brought forward his flight from Manchester to Bangkok and hurries to the airport to intercept him.
Will she get there on time?
While this remains to be seen, stealing from the Underworld factory won't be the only crime Stephen will commit in a last-ditch attempt to get the life he wants.
As a new day dawns in Weatherfield, Stephen is planning his escape from the cobbles and the trail of dead bodies he has left behind.
Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) is distracted from Sally’s plans for their wedding anniversary when a passing mention from Brian Packham of Stephen’s interest in the canal dredging project gets his cogs whirring.
On the canal towpath, Tim finds a discarded boat hook and starts poking about in the water.
He's horrified when a corpse's hand floats to the surface.
Fleeing back to his cab, Tim dials 999 and reports finding a dead body.

But the phone cuts out and before he can call back, Tim’s aghast when Stephen climbs into the back seat of the cab.
As Stephen tries to strangle him with a tie, Tim makes a bid for freedom but trips on his shoelace and, as he clambers to his feet, he’s knocked unconscious by Stephen with a brick.
A furious Sally (Sally Dynevor) assumes that Tim has gone to the county match with Kevin while her husband is actually fighting for his life in the boot of his car which is being doused in petrol.
