Watch the trailer for Nacho
Lionsgate’s new ranchy series, Nacho: An Industry XXXL, is set to get viewers hot under the collar.
The steamy series follows the dramatic yet comedic story of the real people behind the porn industry in Spain and the hilarious lives they lived while the industry developed.
Martino Rivas portrays the legendary Spanish porn star, Nacho Vidal, who the series is based on, as they recreate some of the most pivotal moments in his extraordinary life.
Proving he has more to offer than his rather long manhood, Nacho changed the rules of the game in the 1990s when he later became an international superstar.
And ahead of the series gracing fans’ screens this month, Rivas revealed how he successfully tuned into his inner Nacho Vidal.
When asked how he prepared to portray such an iconic character like Nacho, Rivas admitted he spent “endless hours” researching the pornstar.
Rivas recalled to Express.co.uk: “So what I tried was to, you know, immerse myself in the figure of Nacho much as I could.”
The actor then detailed the lengths he went to learn about the star he would be attempting to portray.
“Just really research, talk to people that worked with him, people that lived with him, and I watched endless hours of interviews with him,” he explained.

“I brought that in, bought in and using all that material, just throw it against the wall and hope that you know, something would stick,” the Nacho star added.
However, Rivas insisted he didn’t imitate Nacho completely as he wanted to give viewers his own take on the world-famous pornstar.
Rivas went on to say: “So, well I didn’t try to imitate or to impersonate Nacho. So I tried to do my way, I tried to portray Nacho the way I see it, or the way I dream about Nacho.
“So it was a matter of trying to nail his energy more than his mannerisms or his inflexions,” the actor revealed.
It appeared all of Rivas’ hard work paid off when he got a well-deserved compliment from Nacho’s real-life girlfriend.
He recalled: “But everything eventually [worked out] and I’m surprised because he told me, or actually, his girlfriend said, we really sound like him a lot of times.”
But Rivas insisted: “That wasn’t intentional. It just happened I guess.”
Nacho: An Industry XXXL is available to stream on Lionsgate+ in the UK.
