THE trailer for Netflix's upcoming series First Kill has got fans complaining that they already know what's going to happen.

First Kill follows the story of teen vampire Juliette and vampire hunter Calliope, with fans excited to see the trailer after it dropped this week.

Season one will consist of eight episodes which will all be available to watch on June 10, but some people think the trailer spoiled everything that will happen on the show.

The trailer opens with Calliope (Imani Lewis) training with a punching bag and quickly cuts to Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook) confessing in a voice over that she has a secret before revealing her vampire fangs.

Quick edits follow showing the opposing families and the two teens coming to terms with their legacies as a "monster" hunter and esteemed vampiric brood.

But in the style of a star-crossed lovers tale, the two girls fall in love despite being sworn enemies.

They grapple with staying loyal to their families as they face threats from the supernatural.

The trailer also showed their parents facing off after forbidding them to date.

Calliope tells Juliette: "If I have to chose, I have to choose my family over you."

Juliette can be heard asking: "But what about us."

After watching the trailer, fans complained it gave away the entire first series' plot.

"For those who says (including myself) that they gave the whole show in this trailer, maybe they did it so we would thought it and get all surprises along the show. Please," one fan wrote under the trailer on YouTube.

And a third wrote: "Literally just gave us the entire series in a 2 minute trailer. Lol."

First Kill will be a retelling of the classic story of vampires vs vampire hunters.

According to Entertainment Weekly, the series description reads: "When it's time for teenage vampire Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook) to make her first kill so she can take her place among a powerful vampire family, she sets her sights on a new girl in town named Calliope (Imani Lewis).

The series is based on a short story from New York Times bestselling author Victoria “V. E.” Schwab, who is also serving as a writer and executive producer for the series.
