Netflix’s You fans in for a treat as EastEnders star makes hilarious appearance in trailer

Netflix has released the trailer for the fourth season of it's hit thriller series You, revealing that Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) has switched his native US for the UK has he searches for former love interest Marienne (Tati Gabrielle).

And one scene in the trailer has left viewers in stitches, and some rather surprised, as former EastEnders star Tilly Keeper pops up in a scene in which Joe who's assumed the identity of a university lecturer, is asked if he's killed someone.

Credited on her IMDb page as Lady Phoebe, Tilly makes her first appearance in a scene that sees Phoebe and a friend question Joe as to why he's in London.

The friend, whose name is currently unknown, asks the serial killing book lover: "Did you kill someone?" before Lady Phoebe interjects with: "Oh did somebody break your heart?"

On seeing Tilly, who previously played Louise Mitchell on long-running soap EastEnders, fans were quick to share their excitement on social media.

Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Obsessed with the fact Tilly Keeper is in the new season of You."

Another added: "step aside for netflix best girl!! @tillykeeper #YOU #YOUNetflix #YouSeason4," while a third said: "I will not apologise for how much I’m gonna stan Tilly Keeper as Lady Phoebe in #youseason4 #you."

Discussing the show's upcoming fourth instalment, a TV insider spoke about the new location, and new additions to the cast.

They said: "This will come as a huge surprise to the millions of fans of the show around the world, who got used to the first three seasons being based in various locations in the US.

"The last thing they would have expected was for the next outing to move lock, stock and barrel across the Atlantic and feature a largely British cast.

"But the producers wanted to provide a fresh take on the show, though Joe will no doubt be going back to his dark deeds when he arrives in London."

The rather twisted romantic-thriller is based on Caroline Kepnes' best-selling novels, which see lead character Joe, a troubled serial killer, looking to find "the one", taking any risks in order to do so.

The first series saw Penn star as Joe alongside Elizabeth Lail (Once Upon A Time), who played his initial love interest, whilst in season two, his intrigue was quickly taken by Victoria Pedretti (The Haunting of Hill House).

The conclusion of the third season saw Joe arrive in Paris for the most recent series after chasing the new object of his affection, Marienne, who he seems to have now followed to London.
