Outlander: Jamie and Lady Geneva
Outlander’s long-awaited seventh season will finally premiere in June and ahead of its release, Lionsgate+ and Starz have dropped a gripping trailer.
The last time the beloved couple was seen on screens, Jamie Fraser (played by Sam Heughan) was galloping in the direction of Wilmington.
He had been brutally separated from his wife Claire Fraser (Caitriona Balfe) as she took the treacherous journey to be wrongfully tried for the murder of Malva Christie (Jessica Reynolds).
The action-packed trailer has revealed major insight into the storm ahead for Jamie and Claire as season seven will pick up from the jaw-dropping finale.
In true Jamie fashion, the highlander is able to rescue Claire as the couple has an emotional reunion.
As they share a warm embrace, Claire remarks: “You always come back to me, you always do.”
However, there’s sorrow ahead as she returns to Fraser’s Ridge and attends a funeral.
Although it’s yet to be revealed who has died, Lizzie Wemyss (Caitlyn O’Ryan) is among those in attendance.

The explosive trailer also teases the major fire which sparked Brianna Fraser’s (Sophie Skelton) travel to the past.
In season four, she decided to follow in her mother’s footsteps and embarked on a journey to the past after discovering a newspaper clipping which revealed Jamie and Claire had died in a fire.
The long-awaited American Revolution will also kick off in the upcoming instalment as Brianna could be heard saying: “There’s unrest in the streets if you haven’t noticed.”
While the Scotsmen prepare for battle, Roger Mackenzie (Richard Rankin) issues Young Ian Murray (John Bell) a stern warning.
“Washington desperately needs soldiers up at Fort Ticonderoga,” to which Ian responds: “I love this land, I want to fight for it.”
However, Claire opened up about her fears, as she stated: “I hoped Jamie would stay away from it, but maybe he’s supposed to be there. Maybe he always was.”
Jamie’s illegitimate son William Ransom (Charles Vandervaart) and Lord John Grey (David Berry) will also make their return.
As Lord John asks Jamie: “You will not fight for the crow, even if for no other reason than to stand beside your son?
