Sam Heughan teases return of Men in Kilts

Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish can be seen having fun in an adrenaline-pumping trailer for the new series of Men in Kilts.

The adventure-filled travel docuseries will return to screens on August 11 as the Outlander duo hit the road in New Zealand.

Although it seems far from Scotland, about 20 percent of the population have Scottish roots.

In this new season consisting of four 30-minute episodes, viewers will travel alongside Sam and Graham as they experience a taste of what New Zealand has to offer with their trademark banter.

Season two promises to be full of shenanigans and adrenaline as they come face to face with apex predators, fall 300 meters in a swing, discover the vast history and culture of the Māori, and eat their way through the islands of New Zealand.

The first-look at the new series shows Graham fresh-faced as he steps outside their motorhome to admire the sunrise and encouraging Sam to do the same.

However, the Jamie Fraser actor is far from impressed as he appears in a gold sequin dressing gown and simply states: “No,” before slamming the door closed.

Once again Sam winds up Graham as the pair take on extreme sports including zip-lining and swimming with sharks.

On more than one occasion Graham is heard telling Sam “I hate you” as he’s encouraged to take part in all manner of activities.

Despite Sam’s teasing, Graham has the last laugh when the Outlander star falls out of his kayak after bragging about how good he is.

The pair are later seen standing a top a mountain in kilts with Sam hopeful they’re the first ones to wear their Scottish attire there.

Men in Kilts will certainly keep Outlander fans entertained as the first half of season seven comes to an end with later episodes not expected until 2024.

Men in Kilts will be available to stream on Lionsgate+ from August 11.
