Peter Andre's wife Emily opens up about her parenting fear as she shares sweet snap holding hands on train with son Theo

PETER Andre's wife Emily has opened up about her fears that her son Theo will soon grow out of wanting to hold her hand in public.

The NHS doctor took to Instagram to share her woes alongside a sweet snap of her four-year-old son tightly clutching her hand in his.

Emily, 31, told fans she worried her second child wouldn't want to hold her hand anymore and said she "dreaded" the day he refused her.

Being careful not to show the youngster's face – who has never been seen on social media – she snapped their hands as they sat on a London train.

Little Theo, who was dressed in a grey jumper and grey trousers, could be seen holding on tight to his doting mum during the train ride.

"On the train today," she began the stories post, alongside a heart emoji. "I'm dreading the day he's to cool to hold my hand anymore."

Theo, four, is the youngest of two children shared by Emily and husband Pete, who also share seven-year-old Amelia.

Pete is also dad to Junior, 16, and Princess, 14, from his marriage to former glamour model Katie Price, which came to an end in 2009.

Emily and Theo were last seen on an outing together at London's Natural History Museum, where she shared a rare photo of her son.

The siblings were seen in summer attire and staring in awe at a skeleton of a giraffe positioned next to a true-to-scale giraffe figure.

Eager to get more of their animal fix, they then charged to the next gallery space to inspect dinosaur bones, with Amelia leading the way for Theo.

'YOUNG MUM STIGMA STILL EXISTS'

The medic previously opened up on the "stigma" she feels surrounds being a young mum.

Emily gave birth to daughter Amelia in 2014, marrying 47-year-old Peter the following year.

The NHS hero opened up about her own experiences with motherhood after Stacey Solomon revealed she felt "ashamed" when she welcomed her her first child at the age of 17.

Emily said: "Unfortunately, I think the stigma around being a young mum can still exist, but it’s wrong and nobody should judge you for the age you decide to have children. We need to support young mums.

"I was 24 when I had Millie, which I still count as quite young. That was hard at times, too. It’s really challenging and the last thing you need is people giving you dirty looks!"

However, she went on to add in her OK! magazine column that her experience was different to Stacey's, sharing: "Thankfully, I had a positive experience."

She added that not too long ago "being 24 would have been old to have your first baby" as she insisted that "attitudes have only recently changed".

In addition to Amelia and Theo, Peter is dad to 15-year-old Junior and 13-year-old Princess from his relationship with ex Katie Price.
