READING and Leeds festival fans hit out at Trippie Redd online after he cancelled his performance due to illness – hours before sharing a late night video on Instagram.
The 24-year-old rapper posted a clip of himself smoking and listening to music at 2am BST.
Disappointed punters made their feelings known on Twitter when he later released a statement apologising for pulling out.
One person raged beneath his tweet: "Looks fine on his insta story 7 hours ago."
A second shared: "He just couldn’t be a***d. American rappers do this loads."
A third person typed: "Twice Iv meant to see him and he has cancelled f*****g joke."

And a fourth said: "Trippie is the one and only reason I was going to reading:( disappointed and want a refund."
A statement on his Twitter account said: "I’m so sorry to announce that I can’t perform this weekend. I was really looking forward to coming to Reading & Leeds…
"But due to illness I have to cancel my visit to the UK. I hope to see you soon!"
Reading and Leeds also tweeted: "Unfortunately we have to announce that Trippie Redd is having to cancel his performances at both Reading and Leeds due to illness.

The American star – real name Michael Lamar White II – was due to perform on the main stage at Reading tonight and Leeds on Saturday night.
He is known for his singles Dark Knight Dummo, Taking a Walk, and Topanga.
The star boasts 14 million followers on Instagram, has 9 billion streams on Spotify and has collaborated with Travis Scott.
The tattooed musician previously dated No Letting Up rapper Coi Leray but the two went through a messy public split.
Reading festival goers will also have Sam Fender and Billie Eilish to look forward to.
