SHERIDAN Smith looks completely different in the trailer of brand new TV series, Hansel and Gretel: After Ever After.
The former Gavin and Stacey actress, 40, has taken on a witchy character for her new role in the fairytale-themed show, which is launching this month.
Available on both Sky Max and streaming service NOW, the series is based around the story of Hansel and Gretel, but with a few twists.
Its official first trailer launched today (December 7), with the show set to follow on December 23, 2021.
West End star Sheridan can be seen in the brand new trailer and looks absolutely terrifying as she dons a full face of prosthetics.
From her huge nose and straggly grey hair to her fake wrinkles and disgusting yellow teeth, it's no surprise Sheridan thought the transformation was "mad" when she first saw it.
Speaking to the Mirror earlier this year, Sheridan explained that she actually fell asleep during the three-hour makeover.
"I nodded off and then when I first saw it it was mad – such a transformation," she said.
Sheridan stars alongside Little Britain star David Walliams, 54, who co-wrote the new TV series.
Hansel and Gretel is David's third fairy-tale special, and sees him presenting the series which he co-created with Kevin Cecil.
Both British stars are joined by actors Sophie Thompson, Cheryl Fergison and Mark Addy, who continue the Grimm tale.
It picks up the story not long after the siblings have escaped the terrifying witch's gingerbread house.
Sky revealed that the siblings are then "shocked to learn that their village – their family included – is being enchanted by a mysterious stranger plying them with sweet treats."
The description continues: "But didn’t the witch get roasted at 180c for twenty minutes per pound? Determined to set things right, it’s up to Hansel and Gretel to face their fears and return to the witch’s house for a final showdown."
Further cast includes Bill Bekele as Hansel, Lilly Aspell as Gretel, Jocelyn Jess Esien as Mayor, Daniel Rigby as Jester and Ed Kear as Dentist.
